Kil hushchi

“The master of the house”. About it I’ve heard only in Tayapa. And he guards the house. But while hert-shchurt is invisible, one can see the master of the house in the image of an old man, together with his old wife. They are always imagined together. They are usually in the cellar and guard barrels of beer, so that nobody could steal beer.

They also guard other belongings and money, and if a stranger wanted to steal them they would beat him. But they don’t disturb the family, which stands high esteem of those two old people. We don’t have any information whether people make sacrifice to them. (Tayapa).
